Our BIH Practitioners
Dr. Samantha K. Eagle earned her BS in Sociology and Women's Studies at the University
of Vermont. She received her Naturopathic Medical Doctorate and Masters in Human Nutrition
from the University of Bridgeport. She has been involved in patient advocacy within the
healthcare system for over a decade and recognizes the need for patients to have treatment
options and access to information. Summers spent organic farming and working with master
herbalists fostered her passion for natural health. Her experience in teaching undergraduate
biology inspired her interest in patient education. Dr. Eagle's specialties include digestive
disorders, nutritional counseling, rheumatic conditions, weight normalization, environmental
illness, pain management and
FirstLine Therapy Lifestyle Program.
Earning the trust of her patients has always been a priority.
Dr. Maura C. Lyddy graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic and has a long established private
practice. Chiropractic treatment provides immediate relief of pain, hastens restoration of mobility
and flexibility, and improves long-term prognosis through manipulation/massage involving the spine,
joints and connective tissue structures. Re-establishing the neuro-musculoskeletal system's function
allows a patient's body to heal on its own. Dr. Lyddy is also trained in Bio Energetic Synchronization
Technique (BEST), a gentle, hands-on modality. She believes that individualized programs are the most
effective way to promote and maintain health.
Dr. Cheryl D. Proctor earned her BA in biology at Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY and a Masters in ecopsychology
through Naropa University in Colorado. She received her Naturopathic Medical Doctorate from the Canadian
College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Proctor brings more than 20 years of diverse
clinical experience in naturopathic modalities (including homeopathy, nutritional and lifestyle counseling)
and Acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to our practice. She complemented her private practice as a
primary care physician in Toronto with an active teaching role at the Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine. Her commitment to patient care embraces the influence of the natural environment and the harmony
of mind/body/spirit for healing.
Emily Wolfman, RYT received her BA from Skidmore College and has an extensive background in dance.
She has studied yoga with masters and trained for certification to teach through Lotus Gardens in
Connecticut, with additional training in the therapeutic model of yoga. Her Integrative Yoga Therapy
program enables her to bring yoga's powerful and highly effective mind/body practices into mainstream
wellness workshops. Emily has found her bliss sharing the joys of yoga with children and adults of all
levels and capabilities. She also offers a program for expectant mothers.
